I've always wanted to go here myself. Michael van der Galien is back from vacation and sings the praises of Turkey, both as a tourist destination and as a residence. The photos aren't his own but still capture a bit of the majesty of the antiquities of the East.
If you love to travel as much as I do, take a look and see if you don't feel like booking a ticket on the next flight to Istanbul.

The Frogette and I have been planning a Turkey vacation for years...just haven't quite gotten around to it yet. Soon...soon.

Anyway, doesn't the post just make you want to book a flight? If I had won the lottery last night, I'd be booking one for next week.
