I'm so old I remember when mentioning Nazi and the President in the same breath was enough to get you barred from respectable discourse. Of course, that was when Bush was president. Now that a Democrat holds the office, it's perfectly acceptable.

Newt is very distinguished; who else made a Contract with America to get elected, dumped it when he got elected, and still pretends his word is worth something. Prototypical of the right wing, indeed.
He is the poster boy. Really bothers me that he pays no price for it.
I remember when just disagreeing with the president made you a terrorist sympathizer.

Actually a Newt is an amphibian, not a lizard and amphibians are characterized by metamorphosing from a larval state -- much like an insect except for the covering of slime. You may be insulting the reptiles here.
It was only a few weeks ago that we witnessed Newt and insHannity giggling and jumping up and down claiming the president had ruled out using nuclear weapons against a country who had used chemical/biological weapons against us. "that's what he said - that's what he said!"
Only of course it was minutes after Obama said exactly the opposite. Now how many Fox addicts bothered to tune in elsewhere and hear the true words?

Yeah, I took a little license with the lizard reference but it fit better. The sad thing is the lies will never stop until they pay a price for them, and the media won't call a lie out on someone like Newt. Cripes he's the "expert" on the "liberal" cabnets too. Depressing.
