A billboard in Missouri
These people are over the top, batshit crazy. Think Progress finds this billboard in Missouri that is being promoted on a local country GOP Committee website.
Not clear who paid for it, but it clearly has a GOP stamp of approval. Think about that for a second. A major political party is supporting a call to war against the government. Pure insanity.
Trying to imagine what would have happened if something similar was erected during the Bush regime and blodly touted by the Democratic party.

The Lafayette (MO) County Republican blog actually brags about this new billboard of theirs, and most of the comments are negative.

There is a particularly good comment by "Pompotous Herdman", just before mine, which are currently near the bottom of the page.
Hmmm... the Lafayette Co. GOP has taken down the aforementioned blog post. What do you suppose this means?
Ha! I suppose that means that all the blog posts pointing out their support for the billboard generated some bad publicity.
Or perhaps somebody read the constitution: article 3 Section 3: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.
So the question is whether conspiring to or inciting to waging war against the United States is treason. It certainly is ironic since during most of my lifetime, being critical of any war effort in purpose or conduct has been called treason by the same conservatives that now are openly calling for war.
Looks pretty plain to me, but no one will ever be prosecuted for it.
What really pisses me off is no company would have accepted a billboard ad like that when the Shrub was president and these same cretins who cheer the message now would have been howling about supporting the president "in a time of war." Funny how they don't notice the war is still going on.
