Exploded internet rumors

Epic fails of the 08 campaign. One year ago today, former CIA analyst and current security consultant Larry Johnson confidently predicted on his blog that what came to be called -- by him -- the "explosive Whitey tape" would surface at the appropriate time and change everything. Still waiting...

"Why'd he" do that?

Why? certainly they have always had trouble discriminating between fact and fantasy and they fantasize about all kinds of things. Of course they're also malicious liars who can and do depend on the fact that the public so loves being angry that they won't care about facts and won't remember that the predictions never come true because by then they're off on another hysterical rant.

Remember when Clinton was marshaling UN troops at a secret US location for the planned takeover? Remember when Whitewater would become such a damning scandal that it would make us forget Watergate?

Nah - they're just liars without any kind of conscience. It's all they know how to do.

The weird thing about Johnson is he was supporting Hillary. But he went off the deep end and never found his way back to reality. Personally, I think he just started out by playing to the crowd for hits, to raise his traffic stats, but then got lost in the fever swamp.

Hillary is a Republican. So were most of her supporters. And I'm starting to have my doubts about Barack, too.

But I think this guy was just assuming that since he's a racist no-class *ssh*le, every blsck person must be too. Guess he doesn't know any, like most of that ilk.

Capt. Fogg, how would you pronounce the words in my quotes?

"Why'd he" go and do that?

Cosa, all professional pols disappoint by selling out to the corporate masters. In that sense, there's no difference between the party afilliations. Johnson I think just really lost his sanity. He was once a great blogger. I used to quote his stuff on the Bush regime all the time.

Mahakal, glad you clarified that. I just got the joke myself. LOL.

Oh speak thee not of Whitey Ford

And shouldst thou be the president

But white, there's more!

Wherefore hath he gone,
I ask thee -- prithee tell me why? These words thou dost employ are fraught with thorns and brambles high and thus my modesty of need should themselves exceed the price.

Celtic runes? Oy! you've runed my joke!

Well Om shanti om to you too, or ॐ मणि पद्मे हूँ as our Tibeten friends say:

Om mane padme om
They do not say Shabbat Shalom
but om shanti
shanti om.

Really, I can barely read it any more. I can make out the Name, of course and something about a tree of life? In Chinese, the tree of life is a fungus. I have no idea what it means in Hebrew.
