More trouble for the Palin family
Going wild in Wasilla. Levi Johnston's mother was arrested on drug charges yesterday. No details, just that it's part of an ongoing investigation. Palin's office has no comment on her daughter Bristol's future mother in law. Also no word yet on whether Bristol has delivered Levi's baby yet. I understand she's due any minute.
Levi's mom looks pretty young herself. I suspect she may have also been a child bride. Guess it might be a family tradition on both sides. [h/t Jules.]

Yet another example of why drugs need to be decriminalized/legalized.
Although with minors in the house, someone should at least check on their welfare, but neither she nor her kids look neglected or underfed.
I don't think it's big deal that she's doing drugs, assuming she uses them responsibly. I'm wondering what this will do to the upcoming nuptials though. Could present a bit of PR problem for Palin with the 'moral values' crowd.
I would need more information before having an opinion on the gravity of the drug charges.
But I don't think it can hurt Palin. Her backers have an astonishing ability to roll with whatever new stuff comes out. There's always some way to end up accusing the liberal media.
You're probably right about Palin Larkspur. That crowd loves the "Christian forgiveness" thing and those families are all prone to these little problems, more-so than the dirty libruls.
