Obama offers specifics -- media isn't there
While McCain promises to name the earmarkers and sic his pit bull Palin on DC, Obama is quietly detailing his specific plans for reform. Unfortunately, the media -- new and old -- don't seem to find substance all that newsworthy. This should be plastered over the blogs at least. It says something about what has become of Blogtopia that it hasn't been. It seems almost everyone is more interested in polls and horserace analysis than the issues so the only way to spread this stuff is one person at a time.

I can't believe how lazy and uninformed so many Ameircans are. When this all started way back in the primaries I went internet surfing for all the candidates and what their platform for candidacy was. From day one, Obama had a website up that gave a clear and cohesive account of what Obama wanted to accomplish, how he planned to do it and what his past record on the issue had been. I was able to go to neutral sites to verify his record and so, as you know, I backed him early on because his concerns reflect mine. I don't agree with him on all the issues and there are areas where I do part company from the democratic stance, but those are things I will deal with as they come up.
I just wish that people would grow up, act like responsible adults and DO THEIR HOMEWORK! Then choose the candidate they feel will best address their concerns.
Thanks for posting this video so I didn't miss this important speech.
You're welcome Rocky. Glad somebody is watching it. Pass it on if you can.
