Blogger fix
By Libby
Well they no sooner unlocked the blogs than the whole system went down and no one could open any Blogger blog in IE. Avedon figured out that it was a sitemeter problem. If you remove your sitemeter code from the template, it seems to solve it.
Good reason to switch to Firefox as your browser but in the interim, for those who can't give up their IE, I'm removing the sitemeter until they fix the problem.

I just switched to Firefox. For some reason, I was no longer able to access my own blog, or other boards I frequent using Windows Explorer. Every other page, including all other blogspot blogs were fine. Very odd.
The intertubes have gone crazy Kev.
IE has always been a product I can't trust and I've never used it. I can't forget the first version that automatically crippled any other browser you might have been using.
That shows how old I am, of course.
I use it too much because it was my first browser and I have it set up with bookmarks that make it easy to navigate. The trouble is I have so much junk on the book mark system that I can't just import it to Firefox without doing more work than just setting up new bookmarks, neither of which appeal to me as a way to spend time.
I haven't been able to open my own wordpress blog in IE for months. There's no doubt that firefox is a much superior product.
Firefox is better. My laptop is setup to use that as the primary browser and I've liked it better.
