What's up with Iran?
Between work and my current obsession with purgegate, I haven't had time to really look at this story today but it strikes me as somewhat worrisome. Hell of a bad time for Tehran to get feisty. Fortunately, Michael J.W. Stickings at The Reaction has got it covered and pretty much sums up my intital thoughts on this development.
Check out his excellent analysis here.

Actually I believe his equivocation is misguided, and told him so. This latest dustup is most certainly another provocation in a long, long list of little and big pushes and shoves to get a satisfactory response for a wider mideast war.
In fact the first thing that came to my mind was the phonied up capture of 2 Israeli soldiers who were actually in southern Lebanon, not northern Israel. And we know what happened after that.
That's why I'm worried Nolo. It would be just like Bush to jump at at any little chance to start at war.
