Oh Dennis
I supported Kucinich in 04 right up to the bitter end and he takes a lot of policy stances that I admire and agree with, but this is why he's not even on my list for 08. This has got to be the dumbest statement I've ever seen a candidate make.
It's not even that he's not correct in saying some of the candidates would rather run and hide, or at least hide behind evasive rhetoric and stupid triangulations to avoid defending their records but pinning that to the cancelled Fox News debate is ridiculous. If Kucinich can't see why marginalizing Fox to the point where the public relegates it to the same status as say, Pat Robertson's right wing network is better for Democrats and for America, then I don't have much confidence he has the finesse to understand the finer points of foreign diplomacy either.
And what we desperately need after eight years of Bush's cowboy swaggering and schoolyard taunting is finesse. Tough talk is fine, and sometimes necessary but it isn't always appropriate. It's a darn shame Kucinich apparently fails to see the difference.

that's why they have to go though. otherwise it can be interpretted any which way. it comes across as petulant. Imagine if mitt romney wouldn't go on MSNBC.
Sorry Lester. They don't HAVE to do anything. That's like saying they HAVE to appear on Pat Robertson's show or Sesame Street. I don't consider those a legitimate news outlet either.
If Mitt wants to avoid MSNBC, I think that's just fine. It's not like Cheney doesn't refuse to be interviewed anywhere EXCEPT Fox. That alone should tell you something.
they're getting too big for their britches already. when they take the white house they can ponder moves like this.
If you're Fox fan, no offense Lester, but it's not a news station and shouldn't be treated as such.
yes it is. it might not be the best news station or your favorite but it is a news station. the biggest one of the three cable networks.
We going to have to agree to disagree on this one Lester. FOX was sort of news outlet when they first started but they morphed into a GOP mouthpiece at least since 2000.
The Democrats have no obligation to support them in their smear campaigns. Did you even look at the screen capture post that Jurassicpork did? You're a smart guy Lester. Surely you can't deny that's a whole lot of "typos" on the rolling ledes and their coverage is just awful. Every time I watch them, they outright lie about stuff.
