I'm working this week so I didn't have to watch Bush's speech. The beauty of the internets is that so many others do it for you. The Center for American Progress posts the immediately apparent flaws in the 38 page "plan." Read them all but most striking is this point.
Heretik deconstructs the spin in his usual inimitable manner, while Shakes Sis calls it crap and has the photo. What makes these idiots think a big sign will cover the same tired crapola anyway?

Ignoring the Facts: Insurgent attacks on US forces are occurring at an all time high of 100 per day according to the Pentagon’s own most recent estimates. The size of the insurgency has actually remained the same or grown over the last year (ranging from 15,000 – 20,000), despite months of military operations aimed at killing and capturing insurgents.Think Progress of course was even quicker to the draw saying, "it’s not a new strategy for success in Iraq; it’s a public relations document."
