Nearly seditious

Ah, the "professional" media at Fox News. I couldn't make it through the whole video segment that Glenn posted. These people are genuinely crazy. I can't believe that they get paid for this. On some level, I can't believe they can't be arrested for it. I mean, I'll all for the right to dissent but as far as I was able to watch, I think this verges on sedition, despite the intial disclaimer. It's not just bad journalism, it's irresponsible.

Further, I have to think if MSNBC had hosted a bunch of lefty anarchists speculating in this manner during the Bush regime, there would have been a thunderous call from the right to throw them all in Gitmo.

Enough already. It's time to break up the Australian Fascist media empire in America.

The ideological (?) snark has risen to record levels, and then beyond. And yes, it verges on sedition, if it hasn't already crossed the line. (Absolutely spot-on analysis, Libby.)

One (respected?) rightie is today comparing the stimulus to Leninist Collectivism, and the Kkkonservative Republiklans to kulaks, fer chrissake.

I mean, nice that he's read The Gulag Archipelago and all, but if he's going to compare Wingnuts to kulaks* I think he needs some time for psychological observation in a facility in which he won't harm himself or others.

There's this insane meme that somehow we're in the post-Bolshevik phase of the Russian revolution, all Democrats are COMMIES! (weird, considering that the median year of birth is 1972, so most voters have no clue what they're talking about), and only by mimicking the Boston Tea Party can we stop the commie redistributionists.

THAT is crazy. Wrong wars, wrong tactics, wrong analysis, and wrong righteous rightieness.

A googolplex of that is going around. And I have never seen ANYTHING remotely like it. Nuts.

(You think it's the fluoridated water?)

* Wikipedia: Kulaks (Russian: кула́к, kulak, "fist", by extension "tight-fisted") were a category of relatively affluent and well-endowed peasants in the later Russian Empire, Soviet Russia, and early Soviet Union...

Gee, it was less than two years ago that it was Libby who was breathlessly predicting that elections would be canceled and an unstable dictatorship would reign in America.

Now that's crazy talk.

How times have changed. Or at least Libby and her fellow travelers have.

The word "breathless" seems to be a genetic marker of sorts, doesn't it? Fellow travelers indeed.

I don't watch those pri - I mean people at Fox but I guess the Obama Derangement Syndrome that seems to be the only topic of discussion around the yacht club of late owes much to the Australian insurgency; just like the recent Obama as ape cartoon.

Of course the Obama as Karl Marx insanity started last year, but as the guy seems far too conservative for the "farleftliberals" they were trying to associate him with, it just seems as usual that their ears are so full of Fox that they really aren't listening to what's happening as well as not remembering what happened.

"Obama's going to take it all away from us" said an aeronautical engineer friend of mine yesterday. "You mean you have anything left after Bush?" I asked? He seemed puzzled. I guess that's because Bush never drove us into bankruptcy with his wars and tax cuts and fraudulent and inattentive accounting. It all started with Obama, didn't it? Bush who?

Good post on the boycotts Cosa.

Hart, I saw that piece and I had to laugh at his analogy. Please, I willing to take the chance the greedheads will stop working. It means they'll stop stealing too.

Fogg, it is extraordinary how the same people who claim Bush inherited all his problems, give instant ownership of everything to Obama.

I think they invented Teflon - every fault slides off and sticks to everyone else.

And by the way, it's not fluoridated water. They vote it down here every year yet they all believe this recession is Obama's fault ( and have terrible teeth)
